Bells Estate Great Ocean Road Cottages
Highly recommended cottage-style accommodation, right on the Great Ocean Road itself, just five minutes from Torquay and the best beaches, including the famous Bells Beach.
Ideal for two couples travelling together or a family of four, the property has an indoor heated pool & spa, a gymnasium, barbecue area and children’s playground. Especially popular with kids are the animals - a shetland pony, alpaca and ducks, adding to the wonderfully rustic atmosphere.
The accommodation itself is very comfortable, each cottage having its own style. You can choose from the one-bedroom studio (Valley View) and two-bedroom self-contained cottages (Valley View and Bush Cottage) with wood fires and air-con. The two Valley View units each have their own spa bath too.
Ocean Manor Bed & Breakfast
This is an architecturally designed, 4.5-star B&B just two minutes’ drive to the shops and restaurants of Torquay.
In fact, it’s about as far north of the town centre as we are south, here in Jan Juc, and close to the beach, giving you ocean views from a large decked balcony.
Guests get a fully self-contained two-bedroom suite, with lounge, kitchenette, TV, DVD/CD, barbecue and heating/air-con.
The master bedroom has ensuite and double shower, while the second bedroom has two single beds and separate toilet.
We think this is an ideal choice for a family of four, either for a seaside and surf holiday, or as a base for exploring the Great Ocean Road.
Sea-Enna Cottage
You’ve always wanted a shack by the beach to get away from it all. Sea-enna Cottage in the heart of old Torquay is the classic beach shack, with all the facilities for a relaxed time away.
Two bright bedrooms, dishwasher, microwave, & washing machine make it an ideal place for a family holiday.
Fisherman’s beach, Taylor Park and Gilbert Street are all within walking distance so you can leave the car at the cottage.
Now if it’s just you and the important other in your life, your romantic time away becomes memorable. Out of character with a beach “shack” is a spa bath, and a gas log fire - cosy time together at any time of year.
This is the sort of laid back beach side hideaway that’s now rare and precious.
South Beach Haven
This modern, 4-star, self-contained accommodation is nestled in its own five acres of land, a few minutes’ drive from Torquay.
Choose from a studio unit or a queen apartment with mini lounge and ensuite.
You can snuggle up here in the colder months with an open fire in the studio, and TV and DVD/CD in both units. Restaurants, wineries and shops are all within easy reach, with the beach just a minute by car.
While breakfast is provided (gourmet cooked brekkie on weekends), each unit also has a kitchenette and barbecue with private deck, and there’s a shared undercover entertaining area and heated spa.
This is a great choice for two couples wanting privacy and peace, while also being able to get together in the shared outdoor area for dinner or a spa.
If you’re looking for something really special, we recommend the romantic weekend packages, which includes choccies and dinner for two at a local restaurant.
Wattle Court Retreat
Wattle Court Retreat is a 4-Star self-contained apartment attached to our architect designed house tucked behind the dunes in Jan Juc.
We have our own shops, cafe and hotel in Jan Juc, and we’re just five minutes’ drive to the centre of Torquay.
We’re also within easy reach of clifftop walks, sandy beaches, rock pools and surf breaks - the perfect seaside holiday combination.
In the apartment, we pride ourselves on providing king bed comfort! The accommodation is split level, giving treetop views from the two bedrooms, and there’s a spa bath, toiletries, luxurious bath robes and fluffy towels.
We find couples travelling together are attracted to this accommodation, so we price it per couple, but the king beds can be converted to king singles, so friends or children can share too.
The living area includes a kitchenette, TV and DVD/CD, and the apartment has heating/air-con to suit winter or summer breaks, private outdoor decking and barbecue.
