We know the Great Ocean Road like the back of our hand, and we’re aware of how frustrating it can be to plan and book a headache-free holiday that takes in the best of a region like this.

On this site, we provide you with all the trip and accommodation information you need to plan and book your Great Ocean Road holiday or your short break from city life. A page of  The Great Ocean Road and the other popular around Melbourne Attractions is here. It includes Airport transfer information, Yarra Valley and the Penguins. It is a full five days to see it all, just possible but busy.

We are happy to answer any questions you may have regarding the region and how to tailor your trip to suit your timeframe and budget. Check out the BLOG for recent news or relevant information.

To get the most out of this site, we recommend spending at least two nights in the area. There are day trips, exhausting, rushing by in the blink of an eye.

The Great Ocean Road is more than a road – it’s a whole region, stretching from Geelong near Melbourne, westwards to the Victorian-South Australian border.

Declared one of the world’s Top 20 Journeys of a Lifetime by Conde Nast UK, we believe it is THE journey of a lifetime when it comes to drive holidays.

The most spectacular section of the road runs between Torquay and Allansford where it joins the Princes Highway toWarrnambool and beyond. A delightful loop inland to completes a circle, making Torquay the ideal base for exploring this section of the region.

ApostlesThe Road starts at Torquay with beaches to meet all needs, including world famous Bells Beach then, with several small holiday villages between, on to Lorne and Apollo Bay. From here you can explore the temperate rainforest and waterfalls of the Otway Ranges, before the magnificent experience of the iconic Twelve Apostles on the way to Port Campbell. We recommend going further on to the historic fishing village of Port Fairy if you have time before looping back inland via Colac to Torquay.

You can manage this trip in a day by basing yourself in Torquay, (incidentally we do not recommend a one day trip if you can avoid it) or you can BOOK ONLINE accommodation en route for a slower-paced trip. Have a read of our latest itinerary to get a more detailed feel for the journey.

We hope you come to Torquay on the Great Ocean Road and stay a while. We’d love to welcome you.
